Oven or Air Fryer Chicken & Pork Chops

This works great with our fry batter straight out of the bag, but we think it’s best with a little extra flavor.

Makes up to one family pack of chicken or pork chops.

Optional seasoning:
Add 1 packet of Mamma Mia Ranch or Italian seasoning if desired. (The fry batter works on its own too — we just prefer it seasoned.)

Step 1:
Empty the entire bag of dry fry mix into an airtight container.  
If using seasoning, add 1 full seasoning packet and mix well until fully blended.

Step 2:
Scoop out about 1/4 cup of the blended dry mix and place it in a zip-top bag or bowl.

Step 3:
Add a few pieces of chicken or pork at a time and shake or toss until well coated.  
Repeat as needed.

This recipe makes enough for:
• One family pack of bone-in, skin-on chicken (wings, thighs, or breasts), or  
• One family pack of pork chops with fat around the edges

Cooking:
Bake in a conventional oven or air fryer at 375–400°F until golden and cooked through.

Food Safety:
Chicken is done when internal temperature reaches 165°F.  
Pork should reach an internal temperature of 145°F.
